Fees and Charges Policy and Procedure
1. POLICY
This policy and procedure provides all staff and clients information on the process for determining fees and charges for all courses provided.
It also identifies the processes in place to protect the fees paid by clients in advance. This includes implementing the fee management mechanism as outlined in the Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations (SNR 22.3 / Option 3).
In order to satisfy participant fee protection measures GOODTASTE Training and Education will ensure that the following requirement is met:
“The NVR registered training organisation may accept payment of no more than $1,000 from each individual student prior to the commencement of the course. Following course commencement, the RTO may require payment of additional fees in advance from the student, but only such that at any given time, the total amount required to be paid which is attributable to tuition or other services yet to be delivered does not exceed the maxiumum course fee.”
2. PROCEDURE
All fees are to be confirmed prior to enrolment and the commencement of training. The amount to be charged for training and assessment services are consistently documented through all marketing materials. Clients will be informed of the amount of the course on enrolment and required to pay their course fees/ deposit to confirm their enrolment.
Client fees are also protected by a fair and reasonable refund policy and procedure which is provided to participants prior to enrolment. The conditions of the Refund Policy and Procedure are outlined in the Participant Information Handbook, Training Agreements, this website and are available by request.
