The Certificate IV in Tourism builds on your Certificate III in Tourism qualification by assisting you in becoming a multi-tasking, mid-level tourism professional. This Certificate qualifies you to work in many and varied roles, including leisure, corporate, domestic and international travel sales. Possible positions with this qualification include: travel consultant (national or international), tour desk consultant, leisure and/or corporate consultant, on-line or mobile travel consultant.

Description
This course covers the basic needs of a person that has the goal of becoming a well-rounded middle level employee. It covers a variety of tourism skills including those of a domestic and international nature necessary to work in a range of tourism positions. Become a Team Leader of Supervisor faster and move up the ladder due to the additional skills you acquire. This course includes the important fields of international retail travel sales, and wholesale travel sales.
This training program may be completed through classroom, workplace based training or a combination of both.

Assessment
To receive the qualification, participants are required to successfully complete all units of competency. A qualification will be issued, based on the successful assessments of all units of competency.
Entry Requirements
Participants must be able to read and write documents and understand maths concepts to a level required to complete Year 10.
